  • Cyndi's List
    • Categorized & cross-referenced index to genealogical resources on the Internet.
  • Family History Daily
    • Articles, courses and tools to help family history enthusiasts discover their ancestors.
  • Family Search
    • Collection of records, resources, and services designed to help people learn more about their family history.
  • Genealogy-on-Facebook
    • Genealogical and historical groups/ Pages on Facebook with access to over 16,000 links.
  • Geneanet
    • Records of more than 9 billion individuals in family trees, indexes, archival records, and family documents and photos.
  • Geni
    • Definitive online family tree where users can add and invite their close relatives to join their family tree.
    • While using Geni in the library, you will have access to Geni Pro! This is only available when you are on the library IP addresses. When you log into your Geni account from the Library IP address, you will see a Geni Public Access notification underneath your name in the top right, providing you with full access to the Geni suite of Pro features.
  • Library of Congress Research Guides
  • Texas State Library and Archives Commission
    • Vital statistics indexes, city directories, county records, publications such as printed family and county histories, a variety of Texas government records, federal census schedules and many other resources to help you compile your family history.
  • US GenWeb
    • Variety of unique county and state resources including photos, maps, transcriptions, historical documents, helpful links, and much more.

Conferences are a great way to connect with other searchers and find information!

    • Hundreds of expert in-person or virtual classes, tips and tricks videos, on-demand learning library, and inspiring stories
  • ConferenceKeeper
    • Curation of dates and details of genealogy and family history conferences, seminars, workshops, and other genealogy-education related events
