Chromebook and Hotspot Lending: Installing Apps

How-to Guide

You can do many things on your Chromebook by using the Google Chrome internet browser. You can write and read emails, type documents, search for information, find directions, and more.

You can also download additional applications, or "apps", onto the Chromebook. An app is a software program used with your Google account. There are many kinds of apps. An app could be a communication tool, a game, a calendar, or a tool to edit pictures. Many apps are free.

To add apps to the Chromebook, you need to open the Play Store. You can search for the Play Store, or other apps and files on the Chromebook in two ways.
