Automated Materials Handler

The library rolled out its new Automated Materials Handler on Nov. 18 in an effort to simplify and streamline the materials check-in process. Now, when library patrons return their items to the library, the AMH will check them in automatically and sort items into bins for various categories (think movies, children’s books, adult fiction, items on hold, etc.). The AMH is a win-win: Library patrons no longer need to wait for a staff member to check in items they want off their account, and staff members have more time available to assist library patrons. 2020 Circulation Stats

While the library did see a decrease in physical materials circulation statistics due to COVID-19, we are still on par with past years in total circulation. The 2020 plot point does not include December 2020.
