Update: The Curbside Hold Pickup program will resume on Friday, April 24, 2020. Please see below for updated curbside hours and a change to the pick-up process.
The main library, Westside Community Center, and RIOmobile are closed to the public until further notice.
While closed, we're offering curbside hold pickup at the main library.
Curbside Hours:
How It Works:
1. Place your items on hold online through your library account, by calling 830-221-4300, or by texting 830-253-4804. Be sure to set your account to "Curbside" by logging in, going to "My Account," "Notifications," then select "Curbside."
2. Once you've received your notification that your hold is ready, pull up to a designated Curbside Spot in the parking lot (across from the outdoor bookdrop). Phone number and details are on the parking spot sign.
3. A staff member will bring your items out to you!
Cleaning Library Materials
Based on material handling guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Library Association, we quarantine returned items for three days (72 hours) before they are checked in.
While we would never willingly circulate an item that we believe to be contaminated, you can take additional steps to safeguard yourself and the ones you live with by following the procedures outlined on our online guide.
