Westside Campus

About the Westside Campus

History
The City of New Braunfels acquired the Westside Community Center in 2011. Within its 9,000 square feet, you will find a full-court gymnasium, a commercial kitchen, meeting spaces, and an arts & crafts room. Next door is the newly acquired Westside branch of the New Braunfels Public Library.
The Westside Community Center hosts a variety of free fitness programs, as well as ESL classes, a Mobile Food Pantry, cooking programs, craft programs, health screenings, cultural events, and gardening demonstrations in its community garden.

The Westside Branch of the New Braunfels Public Library is a community driven space filled with local resources and a diverse collection of books. This location offers four study rooms, a teen area, a meeting room, and a self-printing station. In the station, many services are provided such as the ability to copy, scan, and fax! With eight computers, computer reservations are no longer through appointment basis. Also, make sure to check out the fun children's section complete with four computers and a play area.

Through community outreach, the Westside Community Center will improve lives by providing resources and an inclusive environment for lifelong learning, health, and wellness.
